RAPS is now a recognized ICH training provider
RAPS Announcements | 06 June 2023 |
RAPS and the International Council for Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH) are collaborating to help regulatory professionals keep up with their training and professional education. For the first production from this partnership, RAPS has produced a new video in the ICH’s training series.
The training video explains the documentation process to regulatory professionals, specifically the Common Technical Document (CTD). Lisa DeTora, a RAPS member who serves as an associate professor of writing studies and rhetoric at Hofstra University, developed the script for the video. The video explains what drugmakers need to know about the CTD, how it helps keep information recorded and ready for submission and more.
The tutorial also tells the story of ICH, explaining the story of its creation in 1990 and how the organization helps the international pharmacological community develop safe and effective drugs by developing standards that regulatory authorities across the globe can apply.
“Educating regulatory professionals around the world is one of RAPS’ core missions,” said Brian Savoie, Senior Vice President of Education & International Programs at RAPS. "Educating the world about the important work regulatory professionals are doing is another. We’re so proud to be aligning with ICH on an initiative that successfully addresses both of these priorities."
